Operations Manager - Liverpool/Manchester

As an Operations Manager overseeing approximately 12 branded sites across Liverpool/Manchester, the successful candidate will have gained multi-site experience and be able to motivate and lead a professional team. The ability to drive performance through your teams will be essential therefore planning and execution will be key attributes you will need. This will be complimented by exceptional people development and embedding the right culture.

With major Brands already signed up with us, it is crucial that we have the best Operations Managers on board who can plan and strategise, therefore there will be a very competitive salary with a bonus scheme and a benefits package in place.

What is your role as an Operations Manager?

  • To ensure we deliver the required level of service that the customer expects through agreed contracts
  • To support continuous improvement in all operational aspects of the company`s products and services
  • To develop your team through careful planning of resources and creating a pipeline for the future of the company
  • To lead, coach and support your Head Housekeepers to achieve the minimum quality requirements whilst engaging your teams to be the very best
  • To adhere to all Health and safety legislations
  • To be commercially astute and understand the need for financial control
  • To drive your team to achieve financial success through your P&L management

Key skills and experience:

  • Working in a busy commercial environment in a similar role where there is a strong focus on successful quality assurance.
  • Working in a multi-site business such as hospitality, retail or facilities management.
  • It would be advantageous if you come from a hotel background but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels and be comfortable talking to stakeholders as well as your team.
  • Showing ambition, initiative, drive and determination in all you do.
